I want to thank Latin Business Club of America for awarding me with this exceptional recognition among these wonderful eleven women that are definitely, making a difference in our community. Receiving this award is such an amazing honor because for me, until today, the only reward of virtue was virtue itself.

I also want to thank my husband Jesus Rafael, for loving and supporting me for more than the half of my life. Te Amo Chu. Gracias. My College Sweetheart, the half of me that has green eyes. Today we are celebrating 20 years of being uummm estemmmmm (20 años desde que me pidio el empate, jaja) 20 años de novios! What a way to celebrate. Gracias Chu.


To my parents Mima and Gustavo, for teaching me the value of doing what is right and avoiding what is wrong. Bendicion Mama. Bendicion Papa. Gracias.

Today, I am dedicating this award to my daughters Emily and Erika. Mis grandes amores, mis verdaderos triunfos. I just want them to know that giving back is the best way of living, that the greatest virtues are those which are most useful to other persons and that the power of a woman’s virtue should never been measured by her special efforts, but by her ordinary doing.
